Breakfast seems to be intrinsic animal behavior but colored by culture and class. Some are light, some hearty, some cold, some hot, some simple, others require labor. Today I treated myself to the joy of working for mine.

If there be the god of baking…
let there be harmony in this oven today, even though a sudden decision did not consider all ingredients, allowing the replacement of buttermilk with regular milk

If you can not stand the heat outside, stay in the kitchen
And so, I did some extensive baking, considering the extra heat that with go with it. First, it was the melting of butter for a cornbread.
