The only thing I find odd in classical music, although I am not against the idea, is the fact that in the large spectrum of concerti, symphonies and studies, the very least of them have a title to match, carry or introduce the composed material.
Titles fascinate me. Titles for paintings will at times complete the painting. Titles introduce the notion of the story, its purpose, the underlying psyche, context, spirit.
This marrying of the seen, the heard, the touched, and the wording, is behind each word I speak, each person I share love with, each composition I deliver and receive, each coffee, each orgasm, each wonder as to my existence.
