Out of the mouths of many beings in transition — coming out of their hearts or out of their intellect — I hear that surrendering happens in the moment of doubt, tribulation, in the face of difficulties.
This notion makes me doubt two things:
—- that acceptance, surrendering, or giving in completely onto life, is restricted to being brought about by suffering
—- and that beauty is not able to convert a soul or character into a spiritual, social and/or existential state of transcendental maturity.
Within the “self” or beyond the “self”, discarding of the ego, reducing its importance, or elevating its essence, in an effort to be less congested in being, and more in tune with life in all its forms, I simply choose to surrender to beauty, in moments of beauty, and for the vibrant sake of beauty.
Surrender — to Beauty
