The City of Lyon shows the logical and classical dedication to rivers known through the ages throughout the world. And one may walk right up to the point which is the actual confluence of the two rivers that flow through this city — the Rhône and the Saône Rivers.
The Rhône rises in the Alps, and is a major body of water in France and Switzerland. Tributary to the Rhǒne is the Saône, in eastern France. The confluence of the two is at this point — home to these swans.
