Either, they do not know something we know, they know something we do not know, or I do not know something we know

Nest of monk parrots on pole with cables, as seen frequently throughout New York City

For years I have been enjoying looking at parrots flying and “screaming” while I sit on the porch, as much as observing their residence a block away. Often I have asked myself, why they do not get electrocuted.

The title of this post is no longer relevant, as I now know why they live happily where we as humans would not be able to.

Feel free to watch this video by SciBytes which very clearly and wonderfully solves what until today seemed incomprehensible to me.
