transition

within me, and about me, much is in transition

being cognizant is not being cognizant as in an achieved, solid state. it is rather a physical notion in the acquiring of new branches and/or roots through which to reason between now and the next moment

transition is less in the know than in the suspense (with a gentle, almost invisible smile)
transition is less about conserving and protecting than about opening the hand vertically -- neither open (palm downwards) letting all fall, nor open (palm upwards) seemingly anxious to take

transition as in the state of a gently-smiling-contemplation
contemplating yet another cycle through these trees and bushes, before I cease to be their neighbor.
